As Harry's Fund has grown, it is becoming possible to achieve one of our objectives which is to build a memorial park in Harry's home village of Alltwen, Pontardawe.  We will inform you of the Park's progress through this page.

10th September 2012
Today was a great day, we posted our application to WREN for funding to help us bring Harry's Park into reality. We have had lots of help on the way, a big thank you to our supporters for collecting signatures and to all who signed the online petition. We are very gratefull and feel sure that all that effort will make the difference.

10th July 2012
The committee are continuing to work in partnership with Cillybebyll Community Council, currently we are completing a WREN application to raise funding to develop the Park. It is hoped that we will be successfull and recieve the monies to complete the development in the early part of 2013.

May2012
Local Artist Nigel Talbot has been appointed to carry out design work for the park. Nigel is very experienced at this type of work and we look forward to seeing the results of his workgroups with local groups.

1st December 2011
The trustees of Harry's Fund met with a representative from Cilybebyll Community Council to discuss outline plans for Harry's Park, these plans will be presented to Council on 6th December. Once they have been agreed, we will then progress to the design phase. Harry's Park is becoming more and more a reality.

October 2011
Initial discussions took place with Cilybebyll Community Council about our proposals to build a memorial park in Alltwen, the outcome of the discussions were very positive.
