PRIOR TO DONATING...
PLEASE READ (BELOW) AND UNDERSTAND OUR INTENDED USAGE OF DONATIONS RECEIVED.
RESPECTING THE WISHES OF HARRY's GRIEVING FAMILY...
FUNDS TO HELP THE FAMILY THROUGH THEIR BEREAVEMENT
Harry's Fund started off as an idea to raise funds for Harry's Family and to help them where possible during their bereavement.Whilst the family have expressed their preference to not accept support via financial means, we understand the community (and perhaps even you) wish to give money to the family - we will explore this possibility, however, Harry's Fund currently moves forward on the below basis.
Goals & objectives may change...Whilst the above is our current intention, it is possible for goals & objectives to change. At this early stage there are a lot of unkowns with regard this cause - e.g. What help might Harry's Fund achieve? What eventual funds might be raised? How much might a memorial cost?
OVERWHELMING SUPPORT DEMANDS EQUAL MANAGEMENT... The help volunteered from so many individuals and organisations in it's short existence to date, has demanded that the administrators of Harry's Fund anticipate and manage donations and usage for such. Please rest assured every effort is being taken to ensure that Harry's Fund does right by everyone, both legally and practically. Should you have any thoughts or concerns, we'd love to here them - click to view our contact page and do get in touch. Thank you for visiting HarrysFund.org.uk |
WE'RE CURRENTLY TAKING DONATIONS FOR...A MEMORIAL FOR HARRY...
This will likely be something physical in the local community and is dependent on 1.The amount of funds raised and 2.The costings of a monument. Both of which are yet to be established. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SURPLUS FUNDS POST 'MEMORIAL' ACHIEVEMENT?
WORST CASE...
If we achieve and surpass our above target of a monument, then it has been discussed and agreed that, at a minimum, the surplus funds could be given to one or more of the following designated charities (chosen and/or suggested by Harry's Family)...
BEST CASE... This Fund may grow into a legally recognised charity. Which whilst it will clearly communicate it's purpose at that time, Harry's Fund would likely exist to support one or more of the above sentiments. Should Harry's Fund continue to grow beyond our expectations, the current administrators will continue to converse with Harry's Family to agree a direction, be it to continue or to stop. In the latter case, all surplus monies received to that date will be given to one of the above causes. |
